Jessica López (aka Jessica Polar) is the Photo Editor at Polaroid Originals and photographer based in Amsterdam.
Born and raised in the Canary Islands- Spain, she moved to Berlin in 2008. With a bachelor in Journalism and an analogue camera always in her hands, she decided to complete her studies with a Master’s in photo editing at the Ostkreuzschule for Photography in Berlin. Since 2013 Jessica has been working as photo editor for different German magazines like VICE, Rolling Stone, Musikexpress, ME.Style and collaborating as a contributor, curator and jury for different photography projects.
In 2015 she joined as Photo Editor for the Impossible Project team, the idealist crew who saved the Polaroid factory, now Polaroid Originals. Today she is still bringing the instant analogue photography back to life from their new Polaroid HQ in Amsterdam.
