Alex Guijarro (Dipl. Ing. Architect) finished his master’s degree in Architecture at Madrid Polytechnic University in 2013. His professional career started years before, after finishing his Bachelor in Architecture in 2010, when he moved to Berlin. Since then he worked for different studios in Madrid, Berlin and New York. Before founding Fundbüro with Elena M. Lamata, he was working for Jürgen Mayer H., Gerber Architekten, Para-Project NY or Studio Schwitalla among others. There he worked as head designer or consultant for architecture innovation, and his work was awarded by the Cosentino Design Challenge in 2012.
